Moist & Fluffy Orange Cake
Ingredients:
For the cake:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

Zest of 2 oranges

½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice

¼ cup milk (room temp)

1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional orange glaze:

½ cup powdered sugar

1–2 tbsp orange juice

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8″ round or loaf pan (or line with parchment paper).

Whisk dry ingredients:
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. -
Cream butter & sugar:
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes). -
Add eggs, one at a time, then stir in orange zest and vanilla.
