Air-Fried Garlic Mushrooms
Ingredients:
-
1 lb mushrooms (button or cremini work great), cleaned and halved if large
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
-
Salt & pepper to taste
-
Optional: 1 tbsp soy sauce or balsamic vinegar (for an umami kick)
-
Optional garnish: chopped parsley, parmesan, or chili flakes
Instructions:
-
Prep the mushrooms
Clean with a damp cloth—don’t soak them or they’ll get soggy. Trim stems if needed. -
Toss to season
In a bowl, mix mushrooms with olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, and any extras like soy sauce or balsamic. -
Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
-
Air fry mushrooms
Add mushrooms to the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and slightly crisp on the edges. -
Finish & serve
Toss with fresh parsley, a sprinkle of parmesan, or even a dash of lemon juice if you like a zesty finish.
Pro Tips:
-
Love it extra garlicky? Stir in some garlic butter right after they’re done.
-
Want a breaded version? Dip in egg + seasoned panko, then air fry for crispy mushroom bites.
These are dangerously snackable. Want to turn them into a full meal (maybe in a wrap or grain bowl)? Or pair with a dip like ranch or herbed yogurt? I’ve got pairings if you’re feelin’ fancy!
