Instructions:

1. Prepare the Crust:

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Add the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan (or a pie dish) to form an even crust.
  • Place the crust in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the filling.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until fully combined.

3. Assemble the Cheesecake:

  • Smooth the top of the cheesecake and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, to allow the cheesecake to set.
