Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Posted on February 26, 2025
Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents are a delicious, easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They combine savory sausage and creamy cheese inside a buttery crescent roll dough. Here’s a basic recipe to make them:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, depending on your preference)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8 count)
  • Optional: shredded cheese, garlic powder, or seasonings for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease. Allow the sausage to cool slightly.

  3. Mix Sausage and Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage and softened cream cheese. Mix well until it’s fully combined and creamy. You can add a pinch of garlic powder, onion powder, or even a little shredded cheese to the mixture if you like.

  4. Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet, separating the triangles.

  5. Fill the Crescents: Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each crescent triangle.

  6. Roll Up: Carefully roll each crescent triangle, starting at the wide end, wrapping the filling inside.

  7. Bake: Bake according to the instructions on the crescent roll can, usually about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy! These are perfect for parties, game days, or a snack.

Would you want to add any extra spices or a dipping sauce to go with them?
