Here’s a Cheesy Bread recipe that’s quick and easy to make, and perfect for pairing with soups, pastas, or just enjoying on its own as a snack!

Cheesy Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • For the bread:

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (optional)
  • For topping (optional):

    • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (for extra cheesiness on top)
    • A pinch of parsley or oregano (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning (if using).
  • Stir in the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese, ensuring the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the dry mixture.

3. Add Wet Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix—the dough should be thick and a bit lumpy, but that’s okay!

4. Transfer to the Pan:

  • Pour the cheesy bread dough into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula.

5. Add Toppings (Optional):

  • Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan cheese over the top for an extra cheesy crust, and optionally sprinkle some parsley or oregano for a fresh pop of color.

6. Bake the Bread:

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Cool and Serve:

  • Allow the cheesy bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  • Slice and serve warm with butter or your favorite dipping sauce!
